Sketch of Togetherness 2019

Lea Moro is a Swiss choreographer, dancer, lecturer and cultural manager, based in Zurich and Berlin. She studied at the Accademia Teatro Dimitri, the LABAN Centre in London and the Inter-University Centre for dance Berlin (HZT). Lea Moro is nominated talented choreographer in the year book 2015 of tanz magazine. Her choreographic work tours internationally to renowned venues. In the season 2017/18 she was Associated Artist at the Tanzhaus Zürich. In 2017 she received the cultural price ‹Werkstipendium› by the City of Zurich and in 2018 the cultural award ‹Förderpreis› by the canton Zurich. In 2018–19 she taught at DOCH – the School of Dance and Circus in Stockholm, at the University of the Arts in Helsinki, at HZT Berlin and at Manufacture in Lausanne. Since 2019 she develops the artistic long-term project Sketch of Togetherness.

Michelle Ettlin lives and works as a filmmaker and photographer in Zurich, Switzerland. She studied at the University of Arts in Lucerne, graduating in Visual Communication with a focus on Animation. After her studies, she worked as an editor and camera woman for cinema and tv documentaries. In 2012, she released her first documentary film Liquid Land about experimental musicians in New Orleans in the aftermath of the flood. In recent years, she has been documenting the experimental and improvised music scene in Switzerland, and worked for several dance and performance pieces. Her interest lies in the acts of improvisation, in the relationships and a sense of intimacy that can be established between performers in the moment through different means of communication. Next to her visual work, she is part of different cultural groups that organize concerts and music festivals in Zurich.

Mona De Weerdt studied Theatre and Dance Studies, Art History and World Arts in Bern and Berlin. 2012–2016 she was research assistant at the Institute for Theatre Studies at the University of Bern. 2016–2018 she worked as dramaturge and production manager in a venue called Südpol in Lucerne where, together with the artistic director she was responsible to curate the artistic program. Mona De Weerdt was a member of various juries including Theaterspektakel Zürich 2012, Swiss Contemporary Dance Days 2017, Festival Belluard Bollwerk International Fribourg 2017. Since 2019 she is working as a freelance dramaturge with Lea Moro and others.

Alexandra Hennig is working as Berlin based dramaturge for Lea Moro, Peter Pleyer a.o. She is co-curator of the festivals S.o.S. – Students on Stage as well as Alumni.Tanz.Berlin. at ada Studio (Uferstudios Berlin). As dance journalist she writes for the online plattform Tanzschreiber as well as for tanzraumberlin and Berliner Zeitung. She is co-founder of the online-blog Viereinhalb Sätze. Texte über Tanz and was writing as Studioschreiberin for ada Studio in 2016/17. Alexandra Hennig studied dance and theater science at Freie Universität Berlin and Universität Leipzig.

Salome Grand, Cédric Oppliger und Lukas Helfer are working in Zurich as a Studio for Visual Communication. After interning at the Graphic Design Studios Hubertus Design, Hammer and Büro 146 and following their graduation in Visual Communication at the Zurich University of Arts, they founded their studio ROLI Deluxe in 2018. Next to works in the fields of editorial design, corporate identity and web design, they are specializing in designing virtual, three-dimensional spaces with contemporary and digital tools.
